Part of everyday calculations, engineering spreadsheets are used generating data, tables and charts for reports and so on.

EngineersToolKit has worked on some engineering spreadsheets. They can be downloaded and used by any engineer familiar with the subject. Some material is provided by links to other sites. Check these free engineering spreadsheets:

 

Forces_of_SPC_from_f06.xls or Forces_of_SPC_from_f06.xlsm

Simple and practical spreadsheet for extraction of SPC forces from NASTRAN f06 output file. Creates tables for reports. No copy-and-paste errors or PATRAN reports.

neuber_plast_corr_R&O_mat_curve_etk20121117.xls

Calculates the stress value (for stresses above the material allowable) using the Neuber method for plasticity correction and considering the Ramberg & Osgood material curve. Includes a description of the use, an example and a comparison with FE non linear result.

Spreadsheet to create the material curve for non linear analysis, With just basic material data, it generates the stress-strain curve (also the true stress-strain curve) and can also create cvs files for importing on a Patran model.

Transforms stresses in a coordinate system to other system for 2D stress field. Calculates also the Von Mises equivalent stress, the principal stresses and the rotation of the principal axis.
